Awesome God led our October Israel Trip..............Karen
I'd ever been so overwhelmed by sorrow for Jerusalem during our October Israel trip that I couldn't speak, I could begin to understand the emotions of Jeremiah for the desolation of Jerusalem and God's people because of their sins. The tears of weeping of our tour mates seem to splash onto every site of the journey. I really shared the agony of God for Israel during my prayer time under the Wailing Wall, the quiet moment at Dominus Flevit Chapel and even in one lunch time… We walked along the Via Dolarosa (The way of Suffering) in the early dawn at 5:30AM. The Arabs were leaving for home after their morning prayer in the mosque. We then walked station by station along the quiet street of Via Dolarosa. I saw some of our tour mates were weeping in some stations when I delivered the message. We had a pause and sang the chorus of the Via Dolarosas after message in each station. Songs of Via Dolarosa and the sounds of weeping echoed along the narrow street of Via Dolarosa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qduG5vlVRI Oh, Janice's hurt in her ankle was healed when she was walking along the Via Delarosa. Only God is truly great—great enough to meet all our needs, great enough to forgive all our sins, and great enough to carry us through the dark valley of death into eternity, to be with Him forever. So we declare with the psalmist, "You are great, You alone are God" (Psalm 86:10). Karen The following sharing are some of our (40 tour mates) sharing |
